Our impact

Turning access to books into opportunities

The LoveReading Foundation is a new charity, but we are not starting from scratch.

We build on LoveReading’s established relationships with more than 14,000 schools and 22,000 education practitioners, alongside years of experience connecting schools with the books and resources they need.

Through LoveReading’s existing give-back programme, more than £130,000 worth of books and support has already been provided to schools.

The Foundation gives us the opportunity to build on that work - reaching more schools, developing larger programmes and helping more children discover books they want to read.

The need is already clear. More than 1,800 schools have already approached LoveReading for help accessing books. The demand is already there. What is missing is the funding to meet it.
